PREMA Theodore Racing’s Enzo Fittipaldi scored his first win of the season at Red Bull Ring in the fourth round of the German Formula 4 Championship. The Brazilian started delivering quickly at the up-and-down Austrian venue by posting a stunning double pole in qualifying before sailing to winning in the opening race. Then in race 2, the FDA-supported racer brought home a valuable second place. Unfortunately, he suffered from contact damage retiring from race 3.
For Olli Caldwell, the weekend had a different start compared to what usually happens. The quick British racer was forced to miss both practice sessions due to school exams and joined the pack straight in qualifying. With fewer laps under his belt, he maximized his results with a triple points finish which included two fourth-place finishes in race 2 and 3 respectively.
The whole team was delighted to welcome back Gianluca Petecof. The young Brazilian, at his very first season in single seaters, made his way back on track after having to sit out the Italian Championship round at Monza for precautionary reasons. He proceeded to take points in race 1 and performed well in qualifying.

“There is not much to say really. Once again, issues arose in race 2 and 3. We weren’t as near as where we want to be. One of the positives of the weekend was qualifying 2 with difficult and changing conditions. Despite all of that, we still managed the top-5. Race 1 was positive too but that’s pretty much it. Now we have to put our head down and work for the next race in Misano.”

“This was a difficult weekend for us, we had to miss both FPs and go straight to Qualifying due to exams. In addition, my pace throughout the races was average. We are going to Misano next week for the Italian championship where we are currently 2nd, and we are looking to score good points there.”

“It was a good weekend with a double pole position. The lap was quite nice and the car was good. Then we won race 1, it was pretty much under control. In race 2 we finished P2 before getting a DNF in race 3. We scored great points and I’m happy with the teamwork we had all weekend, especially in preparation for qualifying. It feels very positive for me to get back on top in the German championship. We have to keep working to do our best in Misano in the upcoming round of the Italian series.”
