We would like to express our appreciation to Teddy for his trust in SJM, and we wish SJM Prema Theodore Racing all the best in winning the Macau Grand Prix.”

Targeting at a record ninth Macau Grand Prix victory, Mr. Teddy Yip Jr. of Theodore Racing said,

“We’re extremely excited to be back in Macau and delighted once again to be here with our loyal partner SJM. We have enjoyed some great success together and have had two memorable winners together in 2013 and 2015. We believe we’re in good shape to reclaim our title this year with the new FIA Formula 3 car. In order to achieve this, we have three of the world’s most talented and exciting rising stars: Marcus Armstrong, Frederik Vesti and Robert Shwartzman.”

Robert Shwartzman, FIA Formula 3 Champion, remarked,

“It’s great to be back here in Macau representing SJM Prema Theodore Racing. I have enjoyed some fantastic results this year and come to Macau as 2019 FIA Formula 3 Champion. The Macau Grand Prix is one of my favourite events in the world and I can’t wait to get out on track. I want to thank SJM, Teddy Yip Jr. and René Rosin for their support and trust they have shown in me and I am confident we can perform. It would be a dream to join some incredible drivers on the previous winners list.”

FIA Formula 3 Vice-Champion Marcus Armstrong commented,

“I am really excited to be here once again in Macau. We have been preparing for this race for some time, as it is the jewel in the crown for all drivers trying to reach Formula 1. I would like to thank SJM Prema Theodore Racing for their fantastic support. It is my second time here and we’re clearly targeting a better outcome than we have had in 2018. I have had a good season in the FIA Formula 3 championship, finishing as vice-champion overall and now my aim is to win the Formula 3 race every driver wants to have to their name.”

Frederik Vesti who won the inaugural Formula Regional European Championship commented,

“Macau is the highlight of the season and I am delighted to have been picked to replace Jehan after his injury, we wish him a speedy recovery. Thank you to SJM Prema Theodore Racing for the opportunity. It has been a truly fantastic season for the entire team, and I am proud to come here as the 2019 Formula Regional European Champion. It has already been a memorable season and a fantastic result here would be the icing on the cake. We have a great team at SJM Prema Theodore Racing, so I am confident we can get a great result.”

The media reception also featured an interactive game “Food on the Fingertips”, during which the three drivers joined with Ms. Jacqueline Sio, the miniature art designer of the “Miniature Gastronomic Exhibition” now being held at Grand Lisboa, in making a miniature bun by resin clay in the shape of a hedgehog, themed on the famous dim sum dish “Crispy Barbecued Pork Bun” of the Michelin-three-starred restaurant The Eight at Grand Lisboa.

After the media reception, the SJM Prema Theodore Racing drivers met the public at an autograph session held at the hotel lobby of Grand Lisboa, followed by a visit to the “Miniature Gastronomic Exhibition” on show at Grand Lisboa’s lobby.
