Time to get going again. The busy PREMA Theodore Racing Formula 4 team is set for the second round of the ADAC Formel 4 Championship this weekend at the Hockenheim ring. The Italian squad is lining up as the leading force in the team competition after securing their first win of the season in this year’s opener at Oschersleben. Back at the end of 2017, Prema secured a stellar double title in the season finale, and for 2018 there will be three rounds at the same venue: the team hopes to continue a really positive tradition starting from this coming weekend.
The team will be relying on a very talented four-driver line-up. Joining the three regulars for the season, Gianluca Petecof, Olli Caldwell and Enzo Fittipaldi, Jack Doohan will make his German series debut. The Aussie, son of 5-time MotoGP World Champion Mick Doohan, impressed the team testing so far and is looking forward to doing the same on race day.
Enzo Fittipaldi will be back on-track after a successful season debut in the German and Italian series. The Brazilian is currently P2 in standings, while British racer Caldwell enjoyed an equally excellent start with the first win for the Team in Oschersleben and will be hungry for more. Last but not least, Brazilian Gianluca Petecof showed rapid improvement in his first two single seater outings and can’t wait to carry on his positive debut.
Angelo Rosin – Team Principal
“It’s amazing to be back at Hockenheim, a venue that gave us so many great emotions in the past, especially with the driver and team titles in 2017. We showed we can contend for wins with all our drivers in every race so there’s no reason not to aim high this weekend. I’m delighted to welcome Jack to our team for his series debut. He’s doing well so far this season in the British F4 series, where he’s leading the rookie championship, so I look forward to having him on-track under our banner.”
