SJM Theodore Racing by Prema is delighted to confirm its continued partnership with Asia’s leading iGaming software supplier BBIN for the 65th Macau Grand Prix (15-18 November).

BBIN joined forces with Theodore Racing as a global partner in 2016 to broaden its international business development platform, a relationship that has continued into 2018.

Together BBIN and Theodore Racing have enjoyed immense success in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship with 17 victories achieved across its five drivers yielding the drivers’ title for Mick Schumacher, plus the teams’ championship for a sixth successive year.

Such success means the same quintet – Mick Schumacher, Guanyu Zhou, Ralf Aron, Marcus Armstrong and Robert Shwartzman – will compete for SJM Theodore Racing by Prema in Macau this weekend.

With each driver topping the FIA Formula 3 European Championship podium this season, the team is considered a big favourite to win this weekend’s prestigious race.

Ahead of this weekend’s much anticipated event the drivers joined BBIN management and the public in launching its 2018 Macau Grand Prix campaign at Ujimart Café.

Theodore Racing CEO, Mr. Teddy Yip Jr., said: “We are delighted to have our loyal partners BBIN on board once more for the Macau Grand Prix, the flagship event on our 2018 racing calendar. The Macau Grand Prix holds special significance for Theodore Racing by Prema as the team’s spiritual home and we are immensely proud of our strong record of success at this iconic race. With Mick, Guanyu, Ralf, Marcus and Robert we have five of the most exciting young talents in motorsport right now, so we’re very confident this is the driver line-up we need to get back on top of the podium to continue Theodore Racing’s rich tradition of success here in Macau.

Theodore Racing Managing Director, Mr David Kennedy, said: “We have enjoyed a wonderful season to date but victory in the Macau Grand Prix would undoubtedly be a major highlight for the entire team. With our five very talented and successful drivers, strengthened by the input and support of BBIN as our loyal partner, we have everything we need to make this Macau Grand Prix one to remember!”

BBIN commented: “As BBIN lead the Asian iGaming industry for over 20 years, we are committed to supporting international events. We are delighted to be a part of the 65th Macau Grand Prix for 2018 again, as a sponsor of the Theodore Racing by Prema Team after completing the races of FIA Formula 2, FIA Formula 3 European Championship and Formula 4 Championships. We are excited to have five talented drivers fighting for the ninth Macau GP victory for the team and we wish them the best of luck!”
