EVENT DATES: 5 - 7 September
Asian motorsports team SJM Theodore Racing heads to Sepang, Malaysia this weekend on the cusp of title glory.
For the fifth event in the 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia (LSTA) series, the Macau-based team commands the points standings as the teams approach the second half of the season.
Supported by long-term partner, Macau-based integrated resorts operator SJM Resorts, S.A., the #32 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2, driven by Charles Leong and Alex Denning will tackle the 5.5km Sepang circuit — a demanding mix of long straights and 11 challenging corners just over an one from Kuala Lumpur.

Podium Consistency
SJM Theodore Racing continued its fine run of form in 2025 with another hard-won victory – its fifth of the season from eight races – at the fourth event in Inje, Korea last month. That win was claimed a day after the team recorded a satisfying second-placed finish maintaining the team's consistent podium winning results this season.

Having opened the season with a clean sweep in Sydney before continuing its strong form in Shanghai, Fuji and Inje the team’s consistent performances have helped them open up a healthy advantage at the top of the series standings with two events and four races remaining.

Theoretically the team could secure the teams title once round early but the squad remains focused on process and performance.

Teddy Yip Jr., Team Principal – SJM Theodore Racing:
“It’s been an wonderful season so far and the team remains focused ahead of our next test in Malaysia. We have to recognise that our rival teams are closing the gap and for all our success this remains a fiercely competitive series. There can be no complacency this weekend and we will continiue to represent SJM and Macau with pride.”
